Delivery Information and Returns Policy

DELIVERY INFORMATION 



At Lunar Melts, any of our products which are in stock will take around one day to dispatch (orders made before 3pm are posted the same day using Royal Mail 1st Class whenever possible unless there is a bank holiday). Due to an increase in demand with COVID19, we are expecting that any orders which are posted may take up to 7 working days (as advised by Royal Mail). We currently offer a local delivery service for those in our local area to ease the burden on our postal services and to ensure orders get out as quickly as possible. Our local delivery service is completely contactless and works as follows:

 

  • For orders placed in the Erskine, Inchinnan, Bishopton and surrounding areas such as Paisley, delivery is free of charge (with no minimum spend). To enable this option, select the Pickup from Store option at checkout. Only shipping addresses in the areas mentioned above can use this (other orders outside of this area will have to re-do their order with the correct shipping option). We will then email you, using the email provided by you to discuss a date/time for delivery - please check your Spam and Junk folders for an email from us which should arrive within 24 to 48 hours after you place your order.
  • For all other orders, we will post your order using Royal Mail's 1st Class Signed or Standard (orders over £15 will have free UK delivery). For larger orders (such as our gift sets), these will be sent in larger boxes using DPD Next Day Delivery. We don't currently offer this as an optional service for other orders but we hope to do so in the future.

 

RETURNS POLICY


  • If you're not completely satisfied with your order, get in contact with us by emailing at sales@lunarmelts.co.uk or by submitting a ticket here. For urgent enquiries, send us a message through our Facebook or Instagram page (@lunarmelts) as these will be responded to on the same day and we will attempt to rectify the issue. Orders can be cancelled up to 24 hours after an order is placed, any time after this will need to be returned following the guidance below:
  • Customers have 14 days to get in contact with us from the date the order was placed by contacting us through the above channels or filling in our returns form here (you will need your Order ID handy). In order to be eligible for a refund, the product must be unopened and unused. Lunar Melts accepts no liability for damage caused by the misuse of products and no refund will be given for products which have been damaged or have been rendered useless as a result.
  • Customers will be liable for the cost of posting orders back to us - the return address is shown on your parcel label (if posted). If you don't have the return address, get in contact with us and we will provide it to you.
  • Once we have recieved the returned goods, we will inspect them and contact you by email to inform you whether you will be eligible for a refund or not - refunds will be processed through PayPal and will be credited to the bank/PayPal account used during the initial purchase. 
  • We currently do not offer refunds for items which were on sale or if the reason given was because you don't like the scent or have changed your mind. For items which were purchased using gift vouchers, we will only refund the amount that you paid (minus the gift voucher). 
  • Customised, sale items or products which are made to order (such as our Dual-Wick Candles) will be ineligible for a refund unless there was a manufacturing fault or if the product arrives broken.


Lunar Melts reserves the right to change or amend the above policies without notice or notification. It is your responsibility to continually check our policies for any changes.
